design, planning and paint work by works XL, wiring and water connetion by Roca, gas connection by Invesgas (hot water only, no heating)
total cost (not including design work) 12.352,07 euros
electrics: 8.000 euros, gas: 2.412,07 euros, painting (just walls): 1.000 euros, bathroom tiling: 340 euros, kitchen (just new cabinet doors): 600 euros

in the end there was no new kitchen. the old units were used with new doors made to size for the odd measurements and angles of the mini kitchen.
